Kerala, India 2026

In the spring months, I returned to Kerala and had the privilege of visiting various churches and house groups. Every trip is different. This one was more about encouraging the body of Christ and helping those in financial need.

When I travel to other parts of the world, it opens my eyes to see how blessed we are in the west. It is hard to see parents struggling to provide the basics for their children’s needs. Despite all of that, it is a blessing to see how much they love the Lord, and their enthusiasm to share about His love.

One of the main highlights of this trip, was the opportunity to share in a substance addiction center. Both younger and older people come there to seek help and break free of addictions so that they can return to a normal life. Many people try everything and it does not help them, and finally, when they come to Christ, they discover true deliverance and it changes them. I had the opportunity share about my father’s alcoholism and how God changed him when he gave his life to Christ.

During my last trip to Kerala, there was a family that was in need of a new bathroom where they live. This was an outside building and the walls were falling down. They have two daughters and it was really hard for them. When I saw that, I really wanted to do something about it, and God provided the funds through a friend to build a new bathroom building for them. Below are before and after pictures of the project.

I traveled with my brother one weekend to a place called Adimali. It was my first time to go and preach there. The people in the church were very welcoming even though they don’t have much. They do have a lot of opposition, but they are standing for God. It was a blessing to spend time with them, and have lunch with all of them.

As I am preparing for my next trip, I am asking God where to go. May the Holy Spirit lead where He wills. Keep me and my family in your prayers. Thank you for praying for us and standing with us. Until next time, may God bless you.
