We hope and pray that this finds you doing well! God has been working in our lives and guiding us in this journey, so we wanted to let you know what has been happening these past months.
In May, Jins was invited by a long-time friend in Norway to come for a time of ministry. This friend, Jerome, was someone who Jins had met more twenty-two years ago in Kenya. Jerome is from the Ivory Coast in West Africa, but has since been living in Norway with his wife and children.
Jins was hesitant to go to Norway, because he thought that it was a more evangelized nation. With a heart to reach the unreached people groups in tribal areas, he wasn’t sure that Norway was in as much need as some other areas he could go to.
Upon arrival in Norway, Jins realized that there are not many churches, except in big cities. There was not much evangelism in rural areas that he visited. Many people do not go to church and he witnessed a passivity among communities to the Gospel. Jins had the opportunity to preach in a Salvation Army church where people from a few small churches came. People were really blessed by what God spoke through him.
Jins had the opportunity to share with people one on one and to pray with families. He encouraged young people to start evangelizing in their communities and to begin spiritual churches. He let them know that he would be happy to come and help them. He would like to ask you to please pray for the people of Norway to open their hearts to Christ and that God would raise up God-fearing people to get into ministry to reach these people.
While he was there, God opened the door for Jins to go to the Ivory Coast and a few other countries later in the year through his friendship with Jerome. He is planning his trip to the Ivory Coast in September. Please keep us in your prayers.

South Indian Tribal Outreach
Since last fall, Jins has been working with Pastors and Evangelists in a specific tribal area in South India. The Muthuvans are a tribe of cultivators, found in the forest regions of Idukki district of Kerala. Jins had the privilege of visiting there last year. They told him that there are still around fifty villages that have not been reached with the Gospel. We are working with the tribal pastors to put a team together to go and reach those villages. It will be an ongoing project.
Please keep us in your prayers about this tribal ministry in India, and for the tribal pastors who are currently carrying most of the burden of evangelizing their people, as they have more freedom than anyone else to carry this out.

From the Homefront
Here in Saddlebrooke, Missouri, we have been getting to know more people and we have been blessed by a weekly community Bible study, where people uphold us in prayer before and during trips, encouraging us along the way. And likewise, we can encourage and pray for the needs of those around us, helping others as well. We see that God has placed us exactly where we need to be. We are excited as we move forward, placing our expectancy in God’s person to speak, to reveal Himself, and to watch His faithfulness unfold again and again. We encourage you to do the same! Ask Him to speak to you, ask Him to reveal Himself to you, ask Him to show you His faithfulness – and then wait and see what He will do in your life. There is nothing more exciting that walking with Him in total dependence!
We pray that your summer is blessed and thank you as always, for your prayers for us.
“In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction.” 2 Timothy 4:1-2
